Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking an experienced, full-time Service Technician to service trucks and equipment while delivering excellent customer care. Responsibilities include reading orders, inspection, assembly/disassembly, and maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of fleet/dealership experience, completion of relevant training, and a commitment to ongoing learning in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE certification preferred.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Read job orders and observe vehicle operation to determine malfunction.
• Follow checklists to ensure critical parts are examined.
• Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify they run smoothly.
• Attend training classes and review factory bullets and updates.
• Develop positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
