Qualifications

• Must maintain valid state inspection and emission licenses to comply with mandates.
• Must hold a valid CDL driver's license in good standing.
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Test vehicle parts and systems for correct operation.
• Identify mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Follow checklists to ensure all checks are conducted.
• Perform maintenance including oil changes, tune ups, transmissions, and electronic and air conditioning systems.
• Replace, repair and/or retrofit worn parts.
• Assist Service Manager and Service Advisors in dealing with customers.
• Explain automotive problems to customers when necessary.
• Maintain all training mandated by the dealership.
• Maintain own tools necessary to complete repairs.
• Abide by government regulations.
• Comply with Bowser safety policies and procedures.
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
