Job summary

Isuzu IVAP Apprenticeship is a program designed to help U.S. military veterans transition into a rewarding Isuzu Service Technician role. Apprentices gain hands‑on dealership experience while working toward certification requirements and eligibility for GI Bill® benefits.

Qualified applicants will receive recruiting support and guidance through the Registered Apprenticeship process, with potential full‑time employment and a pathway to a civilian Isuzu Service Technician career.

Qualifications

• Experience with diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, aircraft, generator, fleet maintenance or related mechanical systems.
• 3–5 years of military or civilian technician work experience.
• Honorable military discharge or Commander’s Statement of Service.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass IVAP assessment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Work alongside dealership service teams and participate in on‑the‑job learning.
• Complete program-related apprenticeship requirements.
• Support dealership service operations as part of IVAP.
