Job summary

Sanco Thermo King is seeking a skilled field service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration units and auxiliary power systems. The role involves working directly in the field with customers and coordinating with service writers and leadership to ensure efficient service delivery.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and diesel engine experience, with a technical degree or certification considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair refrigeration units and auxiliary power units.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all components.
• Interface with service writers, leadership team, the parts department, drivers, vendors, and customers.
• Keep paperwork updated and submitted upon completion.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness.
• Meet and maintain labor efficiency goals.
• Meet requirements for certifications.
