Job summary

Sanco Thermo King in New Brighton, MN is seeking a skilled refrigeration technician to perform repairs and maintenance on refrigeration units and APUs, inspect and diagnose equipment, and collaborate with service writers, drivers, and leadership to ensure efficient service delivery.

The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, a clean driving record, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• Exhibit a strong mechanic aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
• Possess a clean driving record and pass a DOT approved physical.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team.
• Comfort working with computers and digital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on all components of refrigeration and auxiliary power units (APUs).
• Perform inspections, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues on customer equipment.
• Collaborate with internal team members including service writers, parts representatives, drivers, and leadership team.
• Communicate effectively with customers and maintain positive relationship.
• Perform work in a timely matter to meet efficiency goals.
• Maintain paperwork and submit upon completion of work.
• Complete training and meet requirements for certifications.

Essential Qualifications

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
