Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Diesel Service Technician to support in‑shop repairs and preventive maintenance for heavy‑duty trucks. You will work under the Service Foreman to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes and chassis components using OEM software.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED (technical training preferred) and at least two years of related fabrication/repair experience.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; technical school certificate preferred.
• At least 2 years of related manual fabrication/repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills; ability to follow dealer/manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and maintenance on heavy‑duty trucks per specifications.
• Use OEM diagnostic software to diagnose and repair.
• Rebuild/overhaul engines and transmissions as directed.
• Repair and service engine, transmission, brakes and chassis components.
• Document work orders and complete timekeeping.
