Job summary

Qualifications

AA in technical field or equivalent experience required.
3–5 years heavy-duty truck service experience; supervisory preferred.
Management skills: strategic planning, decision making, program implementation.
Strong product knowledge for customers and staff.
Coaching, training and motivation of staff.
Highly organized, detail oriented, results driven.
Prioritization of multiple tasks.
Work well under pressure with diverse customers.
Strong written and spoken communication.
Handle upset customers professionally.
Math skills, basic computer skills, Windows proficiency.
Ability to obtain CDL.
Travel to meetings and training.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Long hours in dealership with weather exposure.

Responsibilities

Oversee branch service dept and diesel technicians, ensuring efficient, profitable operation and high customer satisfaction.
Set strategic and operational goals for the Branch service department.
Set service department profitability targets and monitor performance.
Ensure effective communication between Service and other departments.
Communicate with vendors on product and warranty issues.
Oversee facility and grounds upkeep per budget and decisions.
