Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. We are hiring a Diesel Service Journeyman/Mechanic to perform skilled heavy‑duty truck repairs under minimal supervision, troubleshoot major problems, and mentor Apprentice Technicians.

The role requires a CDL, A/C, Brake and DOT Inspector certifications, one specialization, and 4+ years’ experience or vocational training. Tools are the candidate’s responsibility. Excellent customer relations are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications.
• Must have at least one specialization (engine, drive train).
• Minimum of 4 years' experience or vocational training.
• Must have own tools to perform position.
• Good customer relations and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform skilled and complicated mechanical work on heavy‑duty truck equipment with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot major problems.
• Train Apprentice Technicians.
• Maintain a neat, orderly workspace and proper handling of tools.
• Advise the Service Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Maintain favorable relations with customers.
• Participate in training to stay current with new technology.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
