Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking an Apprentice Technician in Reno, NV to support the service department and learn through hands-on experience. You will assist in creating repair plans, submitting parts requests, and tagging warranty parts, while reporting progress to the Foreman daily.

The role emphasizes organized tool management, a clean and safe workstation, and structured training opportunities with experienced master technicians to support career development.

What You’ll Do:

Apprentice Technicians play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the truck repair process. Their responsibilities encompass creating detailed repair plans, submitting parts requisitions for required components, and meticulously tagging all warranty parts that undergo replacement. Additionally, technicians are accountable for returning parts with core value and consistently communicating progress updates to their Foreman on a daily basis. Organizing toolboxes and maintaining clean, safe workstations are essential aspects of their duties. The role of an Apprentice Technician involves a proactive approach to learning service department operations and technician responsibilities. Ample training opportunities, including shadowing experienced master techs, are provided to support career development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass post offer drug test, and physical

Compensation:

• $22-$24.50/hour depending on skills and experience.
• Full Time position
