Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic in Jonesboro, AR for hands-on training and light maintenance work under supervision. This entry-level role supports Service Technicians and participates in job-specific training to progress toward Service Technician status.

The position emphasizes safety, neat work area, tool handling, and willingness to learn through hands-on sessions and supervision.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance type work (i.e. preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
• Assists Service Technician in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
