Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is recruiting a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic in North Carolina. The role provides light maintenance work under supervision and a first stage of training for Service Technician status.

You will assist technicians, attend training, and maintain a clean workspace while performing duties as assigned. This is a safety-sensitive position with comprehensive benefits and on-the-job training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance type work (i.e. preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
• Assists Service Technician in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
