Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is hiring a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic. The role provides light maintenance under close supervision and serves as the first training stage toward Service Technician status.

The position is safety-sensitive; the employee will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and light electrical repairs while supporting heavy-duty truck repairs and keeping tools organized.

Qualifications

• Performs maintenance type work (i.e. preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc.) under supervision.
• Assists Service Technician in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
