Schneider National, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Diesel Service Advisor to serve as the main liaison between company drivers and diesel technicians.

You will write up service requests, coordinate repair timelines, and help keep the shop running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer and data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Computer and data entry skills required.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills.
• Able to work independently with little supervision.
• Valid driver's license and meet Schneider's DMV record standards.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform general shop duties, such as answering phone calls, writing service requests and estimating repair times.
• Maintain open lines of communication with drivers by providing status updates on repair decisions and wait times.
• Assist with inventory management by ensuring parts needed for a repair are in stock and submitting parts requests when they’re not.
