Express Employment Professionals - Columbia (Balt./Wash.Corridor), MD is seeking an Industrial Diesel Pump Mechanic for a temp-to-hire role. Candidate must have 2 years of mechanic experience and a solid mechanical background with knowledge of motors and engines.

The position requires local and regional travel, a valid state driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly. Responsibilities include pump maintenance/repairs, troubleshooting, and coordinating parts

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a mechanic.
• Must have a mechanical background with knowledge of motors and engines.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally.
• Ability to frequently lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs of pumps and other equipment in the shop and in the field.
• Act as liaison between customers and branch to ensure rental equipment maintenance and repair meets expectations.
• Troubleshoot rental equipment to get it back online as quickly as possible.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and coworkers following company policies.
• Produce all required service tickets and documentation accurately and timely.
• Coordinate delivery and pickup of parts, equipment, and accessories with team.
• Promote safety and ensure work is performed in the safest manner.
• Maintain a clean work environment and assist with other tasks as assigned.
