Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Mechanic-B to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel and gasoline pumps at customer sites. The role emphasizes safe, efficient service and maintaining strong customer relations.

You will perform inspections, diagnose pump components, troubleshoot electrical systems, and assist in training junior mechanics while adhering to company safety standards. This is a hands-on position with on-call rotation and weekend flexibility."

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of mechanic experience.
• Ability to demonstrate duties and responsibilities of a mechanic C.
• Experience with diesel and gasoline pumps or related hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pumps to determine faults and required repairs.
• Diagnose and repair pump ends, priming systems, and electrical components.
• Load, secure, deliver, unload, and reinstall pumps at customer sites.
• Perform tests using pressure gauges and hydrostatic testing.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
