Qualifications

• Technical diploma or associate’s degree in diesel equipment technologies or repair.
• High school diploma or equivalency with 5 years of diesel equipment repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach a weekly course load of 30 student contact hours in fall and spring semesters.
• Plan, develop and use teaching methods and materials for diverse student backgrounds.
• Classes may be day, afternoon, evening, and/or weekends.
• Maintain regular office hours and grade records; respond to information requests.
• Attend faculty meetings; design and develop curricula within state/accreditation guidelines.
• Assist in student recruitment, placement and advisement; participate on college committees.
• Develop assessment processes and align instruction with outcomes.

Education

Technical diploma or associate’s degree in diesel equipment technologies or repair

High school diploma or equivalency + 5 years diesel experience
