Job summary

Amwaste is seeking a knowledgeable Diesel Shop - Parts and Inventory Specialist to manage the parts department in our diesel shop. The role focuses on maintaining accurate stock levels, sourcing parts, and ensuring excellent service for our technicians and clients.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with suppliers, analyze sales trends, and lead a team while upholding safety standards and company procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in parts management, preferably in automotive or diesel industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of diesel engine parts is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dossier and Trux Systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee parts inventory with accurate stock levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers to order parts and negotiate pricing.
• Organize and label parts in the storage area.
• Assist technicians in sourcing correct parts.
• Monitor sales trends to optimize inventory.
• Train and supervise parts staff and enforce policy.
• Maintain and implement safety protocols in the department.
• Manage Dossier Truck Software.
