Job summary

American Cementing LLC is seeking a Mechanic I-III in Dickinson, ND to inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment. You will run diagnostic tests and maintain key systems to ensure fleet safety and reliability.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and technical training in diesel mechanics. You will follow DOT standards, document maintenance, and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or certifications in diesel mechanics preferred.
• Mechanical experience; oil and gas industry experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on diesel trucks and trailers.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections in accordance with DOT standards.
• Run diagnostic tests to determine vehicle issues and execute necessary repairs.
• Replace and rebuild components including engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and braking systems.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Coordinate third-party repair services when necessary.
• Support and lead other technicians in the absence of a supervisor or manager.
• Configure and maintain test stations and systems for verifying repair accuracy.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) procedures and company policies.
