Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking an experienced Shop/ Traveling Diesel Mechanic in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, with frequent travel across Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, and Colorado.

A company service truck, hotel accommodations, and per diem are provided. We're looking for hands-on technicians with strong diagnostic skills, able to work independently, pass a DOT physical, and

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic and emissions systems.
• Experience with DEF systems.
• Valid driver's license; ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states.
• Fabrication and welding experience.
• CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to diagnose and repair diesel trucks and equipment.
• Perform advanced diagnostics on engines, electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems.
• Repair and service diesel engines, transmissions, HVAC, and related systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and document repairs.
• Maintain service truck, inventory, and repair records.
• Communicate updates to management.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Work extended hours in varying weather conditions.
