DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking an experienced Shop/Traveling Diesel Mechanic in Oklahoma City, OK. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain medium- and heavy-duty trucks across multiple sites with travel to surrounding states.

The role includes a company truck, per diem, and travel accommodations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in diesel maintenance, strong diagnostics, welding/fabrication skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.

Formación

• 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience on medium- or heavy-duty trucks.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across diesel engines, electrical, hydraulic, and emissions systems.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass a DOT physical; CDL preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel frequently across multiple states.
• Fabrication and welding experience.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Pre-employment screenings and background checks as applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to job sites to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair medium- and heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, electrical, hydraulic, emissions, and AC systems.
• Use diagnostic scan tools, software, multimeters, pressure gauges, and testing equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance, routine servicing, and emergency repairs.
• Complete fabrication, welding, and cutting as needed.
• Maintain service truck organization, tools, parts inventory, and repair documentation.
• Communicate repair updates and equipment needs to management.
• Follow safety procedures and DOT regulations; work extended hours as needed.
