Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Diesel Technician Trainee. You will be paid while training to become a Ryder Diesel Mechanic Technician in Indianapolis, IN.

We will pay you while training and offer a Tuesday–Saturday schedule with a first shift 6:00 am – 2:00 pm and hourly pay of $22.50. No experience needed; on-the-job paid training; earn certification bonuses up to $700 and quarterly incentives up to $500 per quarter.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Professionally represent Ryder and engage with customers.
• Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills.
