  • Hourly pay: $20.72
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, weekends off
  • Hours: Second shift, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Zero to one year of mechanical experience with diesel engines preferred
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Proficient in English communication
  • Customer service skills
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn equipment maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot, work independently and in a team, and represent Ryder professionally
  • Good time management and attendance
  • Basic computer skills, familiarity with shop tools and systems preferred
  • Valid CDL Class A preferred
  • DOT safety regulated; position age and hours per state law
Regulated Tech Requirements
  • Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
  • Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, background, and motor vehicle check

Additional requirements may vary by location.

Responsibilities
  • Move and wash heavy-duty vehicles, fuel diesel, natural gas, and hybrid vehicles following safety policies
  • Perform multi-point inspections, maintain fuel and DEF inventories
  • Maintain fuel island and perform minor facility maintenance
  • Complete Technician Training Development Program including hands-on and online training modules
  • Perform other duties as assigned
