• Certification Bonus of $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained, up to $700
• Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
• Hours: Second Shift 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Zero to one year of mechanical experience working with diesel engines preferred
• Must be 18 or older
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Customer service skills
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn equipment maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot quickly, work independently and in a team, and represent Ryder professionally
• Good time management and attendance record
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of machines and shop systems is a plus
• Valid CDL Class A preferred
• Must obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background check

Responsibilities

• Move, wash, fuel, and detail heavy-duty vehicles
• Perform multi-point inspections and minor maintenance
• Maintain fuel island and perform facility maintenance
• Complete technician training programs and assessments
