Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL preferred not required).
• Prior experience in the towing industry preferred but not required.
• At least one year of prior experience or certification from a Diesel Mechanic program or trade school.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair of diesel machinery and trailers to meet standards set by DOT.
• Inspect and repair engines, brakes, suspension, fuel, air, electrical, HVAC and drivetrain components.
• Diagnose and repair lighting and electrical systems.
• Utilize diagnostic computers and industry-specific software programs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems with or without assistance.
• Interpret and understand technical manuals and schematics.
