Job summary

RoadRunner Wrecker Service LLC is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and tow equipment. You will service vehicles in shop and roadside settings, ensuring safety and quality while meeting deadlines.

You will use diagnostic software and hand tools to identify issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document repairs clearly. A CDL is preferred but not required for all roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years diesel mechanic experience; towing/heavy-duty repair preferred.
• CDL preferred or ability to obtain; valid driver's license required.
• Lift up to 75 pounds; overtime availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and commercial vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections; test drive as needed.
• Repair documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Respond to roadside emergencies and field service calls.
• Maintain professional customer interactions and safety compliance.
