Ryder is hiring a Mid-Level Diesel Technician in South Plainfield, New Jersey. This role provides weekly pay and excellent benefits for experienced mechanics working on heavy duty vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools are required.
• Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems and uses diagnostic tools.
• Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine the nature of the complaint.
