Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The role offers a first-shift schedule, Monday–Friday with weekends off, and competitive hourly pay of $32.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive engines including diesel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems with diagnostic tools.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Performs preventive maintenance and component inspections.
