Job summary

Lonestar Truck Group in Farmington, Missouri is seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Technician to join our Western Star dealership. You will perform vehicle repair and maintenance according to company and manufacturer standards, using your diagnostic skills to ensure first-time fixes.

The ideal candidate will hold Detroit Diesel/Cummins certifications or ASE Heavy Duty certifications, with a minimum of three years in a truck dealership. CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years truck dealership experience.
• Detroit Diesel and/or Cummins certification preferred.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe bay and document work performed.

An opportunity for a Service Technician currently exists in our Farmington, Missouri Western Star dealership. The focus of this position will be to perform vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with company and manufacturer standards. Detroit, Cummins, and/or ASE Heavy Duty certifications preferred with a minimum of three years truck dealership experience required.

We are looking for a technician who will be a dependable, responsible team player with the right skill set and a positive attitude. People who are passionate about providing the highest level of customer service will surround you everyday.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Cummins, Detroit Diesel and/or Heavy-Duty certification strongly preferred
• Minimum 3 years truck dealership experience
• Freightliner experience helpful but not required
• Flat rate/commission experience preferred
• CDL preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Own necessary basic tools
