Lonestar Truck Group is seeking a Mobile Technician to diagnose and repair heavy- and medium-duty vehicles at customer locations and off-site sites in Tupelo, MS. You will ensure repairs address the original customer complaints, document time in the job costing system, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while upholding safety standards.

The role requires solid diagnostic skills, basic computer use, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school preferred.
• Minimum 6 months heavy-duty/medium-duty repair experience.
• Valid driver's license; ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair assigned vehicles at customer locations or off-site sites.
• Verify repair accuracy and address original customer concerns.
• Notify foreman of additional issues found.
• Record time charged in job costing system.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness while working.
• Strive to meet company efficiency standards.
• Return warranty parts to the proper department.
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols.

This is for a Mobile Technician. Repairs and other related work will be performed at the customers location and/ or other off-site locations.

Essential Job Functions:

• Diagnose and repair assigned vehicles in an accurate and timely manner.
• Verify repair is complete and fixes original customer complaint.
• Notify shop foreman of other potential issues associated with vehicle.
• Punches in and out of job costing program to ensure accurate time billed to customer.
• Mindful of maintaining customer’s vehicle cleanliness at all times while working on vehicle.
• Works to achieve company efficiency standards.
• Ensures warranty parts are returned to proper department for processing.
• Follows all established OSHA and company safety protocol to include keeping work station neat, clean, and free of debris.

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Verbal and written communication to include simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic computer use and navigation skills.
• Knowledge of Heavy Duty/ Medium repair techniques.
• Ability to learn company standards, warranty procedures, and vehicle policies.
• Customer Service focused.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Education:

• Associate’s degree from a two year college or trade school.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months Heavy Duty/ Medium Duty repair work.

Other Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial Driver’s License
• Clean MVR Record
• Own tools
