Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is hiring a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) in Lawton, OK. You will perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of complex rental equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, and assist in training junior technicians.

During this role you may travel to customer sites, maintain service records, and help with equipment pickup/delivery. The position emphasizes customer service and teamwork within the service department.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience repairing/maintaining equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Strong mechanical background and engine knowledge.
• Superior customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe maintenance and repairs on complex rental equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel).
• Train lower level technicians as needed.
