Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is hiring a Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III) to perform maintenance and repair on a range of rental equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems. You will help train junior technicians, maintain accurate work orders, and travel to customer sites when needed.

A High School diploma, a valid license, and own tools are required. This role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service while supporting the Service Department

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Advanced mechanical aptitude and strong mechanical background knowledge are essential.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are needed.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair on complex rental equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel).
Assist in training of lower level technicians as needed.
Maintain paperwork/electronic work orders accurately and promptly.
