Kenan Advantage Group, Inc. is seeking a diesel/heavy equipment technician in Baytown, TX to perform preventive maintenance and diagnose/repair brake, electrical, and air systems on Class 5-8 vehicles and tank trailers. You will complete inspections and maintenance tasks, ensure DOT compliance, and document work orders.

Formación

• 1–5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair on Class 5–8 vehicles.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass background check, MVR, drug screen and medical exam.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class 5-8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers.
• Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, electrical, and air systems.
• Complete truck and trailer inspections.
• Perform wheel-end, tire, and preventive maintenance services.
• Troubleshoot starting, charging, fuel, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain DOT compliance standards and inspection requirements.
• Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Work safely in a team-oriented shop environment.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of diesel, fleet, truck, trailer, or heavy equipment preventive maintenance and repair of Class 5 - 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid Driver\'s License
• Must successfully pass a background check, MVR review, drug screen, and physical examination as a condition of employment due to the safety-sensitive nature of the position.
