Job summary

Sapp Bros, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Technician in Toquerville, UT. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers, balancing tires, and performing component repairs to keep drivers on the road. The role supports ongoing training and a safety-focused team environment.

Qualifications

  • ASE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other issues in diesel trucks and trailers.
  • Replace and balance tires according to safety procedures.
  • Complete repairs on starters, brakes, axles, generators, and U-joints.
  • Communicate repair needs to service writers and customers.
  • Perform emergency roadside service when needed.
  • Support and train new technicians as the team grows.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements

Ideal Candidates Have

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Medical Examiner’s Certificate
  • 1+ years of diesel or automotive repair experience (preferred)
  • ASE certifications (preferred but not required)
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Great attitude, reliable work ethic, and customer-focused mindset
