Job summary

Rush Truck Leasing is seeking a Service Technician in Denver, Colorado to provide technical service to our vehicles and equipment while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include repairing trucks and engines, following job orders, and maintaining safety standards on site.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Experience with truck service, maintenance, and repair is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
• Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Read job orders and observe vehicle operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures.
• Inspect protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed.
• Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.
• Attend training classes and stay updated with factory technical bulletins.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase satisfaction.
