Position Details:

  • $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Sunday - Thursday, 5:00pm - 2:00am

Position Purpose: We prioritize safety! The Diesel Technician - Class A ensures safety by repairing, maintaining, and overhauling fleet diesel equipment, ensuring compliance and safe operation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Diagnoses and repairs medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and related equipment
  • Performs overhauls, preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Inspects critical systems like brakes and steering, ensuring roadworthiness
  • Documents work thoroughly in the online system
  • Installs and repairs onboard computers
  • Performs routine maintenance using various hand and power tools
  • Provides guidance to other mechanics
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, with 5-7 years of proven experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and electronic component repair.
