Performance Foodservice is seeking a skilled diesel/heavy-duty vehicle technician to diagnose and repair trucks, trailers, and related equipment. The role includes road call service, extensive diagnostics, and maintaining documentation for all repairs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers and related equipment.
• Documentation of repairs and PM activities in the work order system.
• Ability to perform road call services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on diesel fleet equipment.
• Inspect brake systems, steering, wheel bearings, and related components.
• Ensure roadworthiness with proper licensing and registration.
• Document all repairs and PM in the asset management system.
• Install and repair onboard computers.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Perform other related duties.
