Job summary

Hunter Truck is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician in Allentown, PA. The role covers diverse repair work from minor to advanced on diesel trucks on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with eligibility for a pay differential and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for expert/master technicians.

You will work with a team, communicate with parts, document all repairs, and stay current with manufacturer bulletins while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to 5+ years experience in diesel tech (as stated).
• Valid Driver’s License required; must meet insurability standards.
• One-year certificate from college or vocational/technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor to advanced repairs as outlined on the repair order.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist other technicians on major repairs.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed and recommended, including warranty information.
• Follow Hunter Truck safety policies and regulations.
