Job summary

Decker Truck Line is seeking Diesel Mechanic Technicians in Iowa to join our private fleet. Starting wages range from $21.50 to $35 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a $3/hour shift differential for 2nd shift.

Choose a 4-day or 5-day workweek, weekly pay, and full benefits with PTO and 401(k). Tools provided; post-offer physical and drug screen required; CDL preferred but not required.

• Mechanical experience in diesel, automotive, AG, or military.
• Must have tools or participate in tool program.
• Post job offer physical and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Decker’s private fleet of trucks & trailers.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Complete work orders and documentation.
• Work with a team focused on quality and uptime.
• Other duties as assigned
