Benefits and Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $38.31 per hour
• Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700
• Sign On Bonus: $3000
• Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
• Tool Box/Tool Allowance
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, Weekends OFF
• Hours: Second Shift 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Job Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints.
• Utilize shop management systems and electronic documentation.
• Support compliance with safety, DOT, and company guidelines.
• Mentor junior technicians and support fleet operations.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• At least 2 years of experience with heavy and medium-duty vehicle repairs and diagnostics.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred.
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire, pass Ryder drug and background checks, and DOT physical.

• Position requires driving Ryder vehicles and obtaining necessary licenses and certifications.
