Job summary

Miller Transportation Group's Miller Truck Leasing division is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician in Philadelphia, PA (South Philly/Stadium Area). The company has over 100 years of experience and a network of maintenance shops, offering a family-owned feel with professional growth.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, diagnose engine fault codes, and repair brakes, steering components, suspensions, and transmissions on Class 1–8 vehicles.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors.
• Preventative maintenance and repair on diesel tractors.
• CDL (Class A or B) preferred.
• Hand tools required.
• Ability to work Tue-Sat 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Our Miller Truck Leasingdivision is immediately hiring for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician in Philadelphia, PA (South Philly/Stadium Area). With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates over 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. You Will:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles

• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
• Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
• Replace clutches & transmissions

You Have:

• Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
• Preventative Maintenance and Repair experience on diesel tractors
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) is desired
• Hand tools
• Ability to work: Tuesday - Saturday from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM (B/C Level Tech)
