Miller Transportation Group, headquartered in Mount Holly, NJ, is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician for its Miller Truck Leasing division. The role focuses on routine maintenance, diagnosing engine faults, and repairing brakes, steering, suspension, and transmissions on Class 1–8 vehicles.

Applicants should have fleet or heavy equipment experience, an appropriate CDL, and the ability to work Tue–Fri 12:30 PM–9:00 PM and Sat 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Competitive pay and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel tractors Class 1-7.
• Valid CDL (Class A or B) or ability to obtain with company support.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and reconditioning of equipment on trucks.
• Diagnose and repair engine fault codes using OEM software and proper warranty procedures.
• Repair/replace brakes, steering, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions as needed.

Our Miller Truck Leasing division is immediately hiring for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician in Mount Holly, NJ. With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates over 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. Requirements

You Will

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
• Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
• Replace clutches & transmissions

You Have

• Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a CDL with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools
• Ability to work:
• Tuesday- Friday from 12:30 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday 8:00AM-4:30PM
