Job summary

Transervice Logistics Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Technician in Perrysburg, OH. You will diagnose and repair diesel equipment, perform DOT-compliant inspections, and conduct preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and material handling equipment.

The role offers a 2nd shift from 6PM to 2AM with weekends off and a pay range up to $40 per hour based on experience and ASE certifications. We provide comprehensive benefits, including 100% paid health care by Transervice, tuition

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred.
• Diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment.
• Proficient in preventive maintenance per DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition.
• Repair engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering, suspension, electrical, and A/C systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, and MHE.

Essential Functions Diesel Mechanic

• You will maintain proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of all assigned equipment.
• Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
• Perform system repairs to include engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C.
• Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal mandated safety inspections and complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on tractors, trailers, and MHE
• Monday thru Friday!
• 2nd Shift, 6PM to 2AM
• WEEKENDS OFF!!
• Up to $35/hour depending on experience and ASE certifications
