Job summary

Miller Truck Leasing, a unit of Miller Transportation Group, is hiring an experienced diesel technician to work at the Leesport, PA shop. You will perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy trucks, with opportunities to expand your technical knowledge.

The ideal candidate has fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment experience, a valid CDL or the ability to obtain one with our trainer's help, and access to hand tools. Monday–Friday 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as fleet, diesel, or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1–7 diesel tractors.
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain with trainer assistance.
• Hand tools required; Refrigeration units experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and reconditioning of equipment on Class 1–8 vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using company OEM software.
• Repair/replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.

*Miller Truck Leasing* is hiring an **experienced diesel technician** to work out of our _ **Leesport, PA** _ truck maintenance shop. Ideal applicants will be experienced heavy truck mechanics and will have experience in the truck leasing space along with a desire to continue learning and growing your technical knowledge.

Requirements

You Will

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
• Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
• Replace clutches & transmissions

You Have

• Prior experience as a **fleet mechanic** , **diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic**
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
• A valid CDL, or the ability to acquire a CDL with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools
• Experience working on Refrigeration Units is desired, but not required
• **Ability to work:**
• **Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM**
