Miller Transportation Group is hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician for Mount Holly, NJ. Join a family-owned leader with extensive truck maintenance capabilities and a nationwide network of service shops.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose engine codes, and repair brakes, suspensions, clutches, and transmissions on Class 1–8 vehicles. Valid CDL A or B is preferred or can be obtained with our trainer's support.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a fleet/diesel/heavy equipment mechanic.
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel tractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and reconditioning of equipment (Class 1–8).
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes using OEM software.
• Repair/replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments.
• Replace clutches and transmissions.

Our Miller Truck Leasingdivision is immediately hiring for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician in Mount Holly, NJ. With over 100 years of experience and upwards of 8,000 trucks on the road, Miller currently operates over 40 Diesel Maintenance shops throughout KY, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, MA, and NH. You Will:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
• Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
• Replace clutches & transmissions

You Have:

• Prior experience as a fleet mechanic, diesel mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a CDL with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools
• Ability to work:
  • Monday - Friday from 1:30 PM until 10:00 PM
