Job summary

Kuert Concrete Inc in Milford, OH is seeking a qualified truck mechanic to perform mechanical and light electrical inspections, read job orders, and diagnose malfunctions on heavy equipment.

The role requires welding experience, a CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to obtain one, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; safety is emphasized in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Welding experience is required.
• Must possess a wide variety of tools.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Class A or B CDL required or the ability to obtain.
• Spanish speaking or bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical and light electrical inspections.
• Reads job orders and listens to trucks in operation to determine malfunctions and to plan work procedures.
• Diagnose and repair/replace various parts/components that have failed or are causing malfunctions on the equipment, such as transmissions, engines, drain lines, rear axles, gearboxes, springs, drive lines, operators' compartments, fixed ladders and walkways, and other mechanical parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical problems relating to the brake system of all equipment.
• Service equipment: i.e., grease trucks and related equipment, change oils/fluids.
• Wears appropriate PPE for tasks being performed.
• Maintain and help maintain a clean work atmosphere inside and outside the shop.
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
