Job summary

Advanced Concrete, Inc. is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain our fleet of ready-mix trucks, semis, and heavy equipment. This hands-on role involves routine maintenance, diagnostic work, and timely breakdown repairs to keep our fleet in peak condition.

You'll perform oil changes, brake and tire services, troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, and complete DOT inspections. A CDL is preferred but not required; competitive pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brakes.
• CDL license preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Safety-focused with a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair our fleet of ready-mix trucks, semis, and heavy equipment.
• Perform scheduled oil changes, brake jobs, tire repairs, and fluid services.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using tools, equipment, and technical manuals.
• Complete DOT inspections and ensure trucks are road-ready and compliant.
• Keep accurate service and repair records in line with company and DOT standards.
• Collaborate with drivers and dispatch to quickly resolve breakdowns and keep trucks in service.
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
