GFL Environmental Inc. in Arkansas seeks a Heavy Truck Maintenance Technician to perform routine vehicle maintenance, keep accurate records, and ensure safe operation by following preventive maintenance schedules in line with state and federal guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL, DOT air brake inspection certification, and at least 2 years of hands-on heavy truck repair experience. Strong English repair manual literacy and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with others and follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to understand repair manuals written in English and operate tools and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment using standard methods.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records.
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance to meet regulations and corporate guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and clean shop facility.
• Diagnose and repair heavy diesel, gas and electric equipment and vehicles.
• Provide accurate labor hours for each product line.
• Complete reports, work orders, and order parts as required daily.
• Assist in reviewing mechanical write-ups and coordinating repairs.
• Ensure safe working conditions and compliance with safety regulations.
