Job summary

High Tide Oil Company, Inc. in Moody, AL is seeking a full-time, experienced diesel mechanic to maintain and repair diesel-powered fleet vehicles.

You will diagnose issues with modern engines, perform routine service such as oil and filter changes, and coordinate with the team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Class A CDL a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and computer software used in modern diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and repairs vehicles with diesel engines.
• Handles routine repairs, including oil, filter changes and tire changes.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for our fleet.
• Interpret diagnostic test results accurately.
• Collaborate with other members of the team to prioritize and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
