Job summary

Foresight Energy is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled repair tasks on surface mining equipment. You will follow management direction, monitor machinery, troubleshoot issues, and order parts to keep assets running efficiently.

Work is on dayshift, Monday through Friday, with Saturdays and on-call as needed. The role requires diesel technology credentials, ability to read schematics, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather as part of a

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience on construction/mining equipment (CAT preferred).
• Ability to read schematics and maintenance manuals.
• Must be able to lift 50 lb and operate in all weather.
• Diesel certificates and welding preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred in working on construction and mining equipment (CAT experience preferred) – Diesel engines and transmissions, Hydraulic systems, Electrical systems
• Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and computers and read schematics and maintenance manuals
• Ability to lift tools and parts as required (50 lb. minimum)
• Diesel certificate, OEM certificate, and/or Associates Degree in Diesel Technology
• Welding preferred
• Provide necessary hand tools. Larger size tools, rigging, and other task specific tooling will be provided
• New Miner Training for Surface
• CDL preferred

• Compensation at an attractive hourly rate of $26.91 to $30.12. depending on experience.
