Job summary

ProLift Rigging is hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Lincoln, Nebraska. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel-powered equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and tractors.

You will troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and onboard computer systems, brakes, booms, outriggers, pumps and related components. The position requires at least 3 years' diesel maintenance experience, ability to read schematics, and a current CDL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in diesel maintenance with proven troubleshooting skills.
• Must read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with Cummins and CAT diesel engines and systems.
• Must have current CDL.
• Willing to work day and/or night shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass drug test, fit-for-duty test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and corrective maintenance on diesel engines, booms, electrical systems (including troubleshooting onboard computer systems), hydraulic systems (booms, outriggers, pumps), brakes and other basic components.
• Work on hydraulic and conventional cranes, forklifts, tractor trailers and miscellaneous equipment.
• Communicate effectively with operators and other mechanics.
